Terms of Service

Last updated June 24, 2026.

These Terms are a contract between you — the person or business creating a Booknis account — and Bhavesh Labs, Inc. (a California corporation, “Bhavesh Labs,” “we,” “us”). By checking the consent checkbox at sign-up and creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

Note — not legal advice. This document is written in plain English for clarity. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before your business relies on it for compliance purposes. Laws vary by jurisdiction.

1. The service

Booknis is a hosted dashboard for service businesses — managing appointments, customers, payments, team, and communications. We provide the software; you supply the business judgment and remain responsible for your operations, your customers, and your compliance with applicable laws.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your business to these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact signal@bhaveshlabs.com immediately.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Booknis to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach this section, with or without advance notice, at our discretion.

4. Billing and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in Settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. After cancellation the account pauses (read-only) and your data is retained for 30 days while you decide.

Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure form. Bhavesh Labs never stores, sees, or processes your card number, CVV, or expiration date.

5. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to the full feature set. No credit card is required to start. If you do not select a paid plan by day 14, your account pauses — your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently purged unless you reactivate.

6. Your data

You own all data you input into Booknis — appointments, customer records, files, business settings. We process it on your behalf as a data processor. You can export all of it as CSV from the dashboard at any time, or request full deletion via the delete-account flow in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for full details on retention and your rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Booknis software, design, brand, and PRANIS™ system belong to Bhavesh Labs. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for the duration of your active subscription. You retain all intellectual property rights in the content and data you upload.

8. Availability and warranties

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Booknis is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bhavesh Labs’ total liability for any claim arising from or related to Booknis is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice. We may terminate immediately for unpaid invoices after a 7-day cure window, or for material breach of section 3. After termination, your data is purged within 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.

11. Changes to these Terms

We will notify active account holders by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to the courts of San Francisco County. If any clause is unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
